Welcome
Welcome to my blog. I am so excited to have this all finally up and running. My love for photography started years ago with a 110 camera and never enough film. Times have changed and the camera has changed, but looking through the eye of the camera never changes.
Photography gives me the excuse to slow down and open my eyes at the beauty around me, whether its locally or traveling abroad. I do love travel photography. It is thrilling to feel the ground and take in the smells around you in other parts of the world. My hope is that when you gaze into a photo of England, France or Mexican beaches that you can feel yourself there.
Candid photography really started for me when my children were babies. I had taken them to get their pictures taken at various studios and found that I was the one posing them and getting them to smile. So I started taking their portrait pictures myself. and much to my surprise, when I went to have them developed I was arguing with the print shop on whether they were mine or a "professional photographer", for copyright issues. Since then I have upgraded my camera and have spent many, many hours taking candid photos. I have done several weddings now and lots and lots of family and children portraits.
